What's included in my monthly maintenance plan?
Your plan covers all labor for routine inspections and minor repairs during scheduled visits (exact services vary by tier). For example: Lite includes quarterly safety checks + 1 repair per visit (30 min max), Standard offers quarterly visits + 2 repairs (1 hour max), and Pro provides monthly visits + unlimited minor repairs (2 hours max). Parts/materials are billed separately at cost + 10%. Major repairs are quoted upfront.
How quickly can you respond to emergency repairs?
Pro members get 24/7 emergency line access with next-day service (includes 1 free visit/year). Lite/Standard members receive priority scheduling (48-hour response). Non-members typically wait 3–5 days based on availability. Note: Emergencies include water leaks, broken locks, or electrical hazards.
Are your handymen licensed and insured?
Yes! All contractors pass background checks, carry general liability insurance ($1M+ coverage), and specialize in specific trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.). We handle all subcontractor vetting so you don’t have to.
What if I need a repair that isn’t covered by my plan?
You’ll receive a member discount (10%–20% off additional repairs), a transparent quote before work begins, and flexible scheduling with your preferred contractor.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Absolutely. You can downgrade/upgrade anytime with 30-day notice. There are no long-term contracts, and we offer prorated refunds for annual payments. Service can be paused for up to 3 months (e.g., for vacations).
We currently cover only the Charlotte area.
Monthly plans are auto-charged to your card on the same date each month. One-time repairs require a 50% deposit to book, with the balance due after completion. We accept credit/debit cards, CashApp, and Zelle.
What’s your satisfaction guarantee?
If you’re unhappy with any service, we’ll return within 48 hours to fix it at no extra labor cost. If we can’t resolve the issue, you’ll receive a full refund.
Can I request the same handyman each time?
We cannot guarantee recurring availability for a particular handyman. We'll do our best to ensure you get the most qualified and professional handyman available.
How do holiday/after-hours visits work?
Lite & Standard plans cover regular business hours (M-F 8am–5pm). After-hours service is available for a +25% fee (Pro members get 1 free/year). Holiday service is limited to emergencies (New Year’s Day, July 4th, etc.).
How often should my home have maintenance checks?
Older homes (20+ years) benefit from quarterly checks (Standard/Pro recommended). New builds typically need biannual service (Lite sufficient). Rental properties should schedule pre/post-tenant inspections.
